The Gin's Leap was always known as The Rock by the early settlers. But many of the older residents subscribe to the legend of a Aboriginal girl throwing herself from the cliff while being pursued by wild Aboriginal Tribe^.
At the foot of this great Rock is a vault, built in 1892. Here lie some of the members of the Grover family.
